Kindergarten Power Hour

TTLC offers a unique program for those kids who wish to dive into kindergartencurriculum a little ahead of time (Pre-K age) or for those who are already ofkindergarten age and wish to supplement their current program.

This class is taught at an accelerated pace in a small group setting, and focuses onareas in the kindergarten curriculum (language arts, math, writing/journal time,social studies, science, and literacy). The goal of this class is to have students gaina solid foundation of the concepts in kindergarten and build on their independenceskills. Students are given tasks to complete individually, with a partner, or in asmall group. In addition to the centers, there is a heavy emphasis on social skills,cooperative play, and self help skills.

The class meets immediately after the preschool class finishes. Students havesnack from 11:30-11:45am and instruction ends at 12:45pm. The cost for this classis $7.00/day. This class meets M-F however, it is not mandatory to attend everyday. This class does not meet in the Summer Session.
